JAGMANDIR ISLAND , PICHOLA LAKE


Jag Mandir is a palace built on an island in the Lake Pichola. It is also called the "Lake Garden Palace". The palace is located in Udaipur city in the Indian state of Rajasthan. Its construction is credited to three Maharanas of the Sisodia Rajputs of Mewar kingdom. The most attractive structure in the Jagmandir complex is Gul Mahal, the first structure that was built in 1551, during the reign of Maharana Amar Singh.

How you can reach the Jagmandir Palace?

 

You need to take ticket from the city palace itself, a separate ticket counter can be found in the city palace.

The boat ride include city sightseen of around 20 minutes and then the boat will drop you to the jagmandir island.

you can enjoy the dinning and expore the palace in between the lake, afterwords the boat will again pick you up and drop you to the city palace.
